A house in Rimini where every object is one of one. Furniture reborn, two hundred chandeliers brought back to light, and a collection hand-printed with Stamperia Pascucci 1826.

What Riminiwood is
Christine Joan Johnson buys furniture nobody wants any more, washes it, sands it and repaints it until it says something again. In the same house in Rimini sit two hundred dismantled chandeliers and the rust-printed collection. Three crafts, one pair of hands.

Countdown Collection 1826 - 2026, from wood to wardrobe
Stamperia Pascucci has printed with rust since 1826: seven generations, hand-carved wooden blocks and colour recipes never written down. Christine took those blocks onto garments cut today.

Chandeliers
They come from thirty-five years of storage: crystal, brass, wrought iron, glass beads. Some were broken. Each one is taken apart, washed piece by piece, rewired and lit again.

Hollywood celebrates the stars of cinema. Riminiwood celebrates the creative minds who shape the world.

The space
Five hundred square metres a short walk from the Arch of Augustus: stained glass, a hand-built wooden tree in the middle of the hall, a five-metre hydrangea mural. People film here, dine here, show work here. Even one corner, to test an idea.
Who is behind it
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1963. Actress and musician, nominated for a David di Donatello in 2009. From Kingston to New York, from New York to Romagna. Today she buys old furniture, repaints it, and signs it.
Riminiwood was born there, in the imperfection, in the faith, in the light that insisted on shining even when everything else was dark. The whole story
