What Riminiwood is

A house where every
object is one of one.

Human
Is Art

Countdown Collection 1826 - 2026, from wood to wardrobe

Stamperia Pascucci has printed with rust since 1826: seven generations, hand-carved wooden blocks and colour recipes never written down. Christine took those blocks onto garments cut today.

Interiors

Twenty-one pieces,
twenty-one stories.

Every piece comes with its origin, the work done on it and the signature of whoever painted it. Quantity one: when it goes, it goes.

Chandeliers

Two hundred,
one at a time.

They come from thirty-five years of storage: crystal, brass, wrought iron, glass beads. Some were broken. Each one is taken apart, washed piece by piece, rewired and lit again.

The space

You can
rent it.

Five hundred square metres a short walk from the Arch of Augustus: stained glass, a hand-built wooden tree in the middle of the hall, a five-metre hydrangea mural. People film here, dine here, show work here. Even one corner, to test an idea.

Who is behind it

Christine
Joan Johnson

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1963. Actress and musician, nominated for a David di Donatello in 2009. From Kingston to New York, from New York to Romagna. Today she buys old furniture, repaints it, and signs it.

Riminiwood was born there, in the imperfection, in the faith, in the light that insisted on shining even when everything else was dark.
